Where My Grandmother’s Roses Bloom is a new edition by the artist Mojé Assefjah from 2026. The work is created from a two-plate intaglio print with carborundum. Each sheet was then individually hand-painted by the artist with egg tempera. This gives each work its own character and color palette.

The motif evokes her grandmother's garden, combining personal memory with an atmospheric, almost dreamlike visual world. Assefjah works with transparent color spaces, soft transitions, and gestural lines reminiscent of calligraphic movement. The egg tempera technique lends the images a matte depth and a special luminosity.

The sale also supports artists in Iran.
